Hi all,
Inspired by Berend's OT post about nVidia's IDE of choice, I'd like to gauge
the following amongst the NZ PHPers:
1a) What is your currently preferred PHP IDE?
1b) What are the pros and cons of it?
2) What other PHP IDE's have you had experience with?
If I have enough results, I'll stick some graphs up etc.
Here's my answers:
1a) What is your currently preferred IDE?
Zend Studio 7.1 Beta
1b) What are the pros and cons of it?
Pros: Full integration with the Zend suites - Server/Platform/Debug and of
course Zend Framework.
SVN integration, and the ability to work on remote projects via SFTP/FTP
Cons: Still beta, as it fixes a nasty bug with 'intellisense'
Prone to the odd crash.
2) What other IDE's have you had experience with?
Zend Studio 5/6/7
Eclipse PDT
VS.php
Dreamweaver
Basic Text Editors (notepad/vim etc)
