Some of us don't use IDE's and prefer editors for various reasons, so
does that mean we can't answer the questionnaire? I prefer to use
editors because most IDE's I have tried so far just feel too slow and
clunky, and have so many features I never end up using.

Geany is perfect for me, because it has all the features I need, without
too many extras, and it is nice and fast. Geany also has basic support
for projects and could almost be considered as an IDE in my mind.
