Who says it's a spelling or grammatical error? Maybe they really only do create open source solutions for *four* real people ;)
I do have to agree with your comments though. My first thought on reading the post is "do we really need yet another PHP framework..." It took me a long time myself but I finally realised there's simply no point reinventing the wheel all the time when you can use a popular framework. It might not do everything quite the way you want, but why write a heap of code that's never as feature rich when you can utilise something that's all there and does 80 to 90% of what you need. I last rolled my own framework a couple of years ago and I won't be doing that again. I've been moving sites away from that framework this year.
