hm... i am not too happy about that commit. what exactly is the use of a
half-way implementation
that doesn't behave properly (in this case custom privileges don't survive
restart)?
i would appreciate if you would at least state that your implementation is just
a quick hack
that needs to be replaced. otherwise we will forget about it.
