imo the javadoc of the tree interface is a bit minimalistic and i would
like to suggest that we put some effort in defining the behavior in
the various cases.
examples:
- Tree#removeProperty: what is the intended behavior if there no such property?
- Tree#setProperty: behavior in case of null value(s) or empty value list
