LuceneIndex - Analyzers

Hey guys,I hope I am at the right place to ask this question.
The LucenIndex's documentation page 
(http://jackrabbit.apache.org/oak/docs/query/lucene.html) says that the 
Analyzers are currently available only in 1.1.x versions of the Oak.
May I ask if there is a plan to add that feature into the 1.0.x versions too?
