At least for observation that is what I suspect. Events are usually delivered within millis. On Windows I still saw test failures with a 10 seconds timeout. Increasing that to 60 seconds brought the failure rate down. However occasionally it still fails. Not sure how much a virtualised environment has an additional impact here.

(BTW note that recently I've seen observation failures that are different. Still need to investigate those).
