with the changes for <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-4679>,
the Jackrabbit dependency has been set to 2.11.x, which of course we
can't do as that branch is (a) unstable and (b) not maintained anymore.
The Oak changes depend on user management API changes in Jackrabbit. So
the choice here is to either
1) backport these changes into Jackrabbit 2.10.x, or
2) change Oak 1.2 to be based on the stable 2.12 branch (instead of 2.10).
I have tested 1.2 with a Jackrabbit 2.12.x dependency and didn't see any
problems (incl. integration test profile).
Is everybody ok with this change?
