Hi I am quite reluctant to back port improvements as - according to my knowledge - we originally had the policy to only back port critical bugs or vulnerabilities. The recent issues we faced with back ports doesn't add any confidence. IMHO people should upgrade to the more recent releases to get improvements (or new features).
