Hi, For those who aren’t aware, I have a working demo of the CompositeDataStore supporting a single use case. The use case is to quickly create Oak test environments by cloning a production node store to the test instance and then using the CompositeDataStore in the test instance to reference the production data store read-only, along with referencing a test data store as a read-write data store.
This use case was demoed at adaptTo last week. Over the next bit I’ll be reaching out with a number of questions and design issues to resolve regarding a true implementation. For the demo, I just made some decisions in a number of cases to get something working quickly, but now I need to get feedback on the best way to accomplish these tasks. Look for the mails coming up over the next while, and then once we have decisions I’ll document them in the wiki. -MR
