Hi, I'd like to backport changes for OAK-7553 to the 1.8 branch. The CommitValueResolver was introduced with 1.8 but slightly refactored with OAK-7553. This currently makes it more difficult to maintain the 1.8 branch.
I consider the backport low risk because there is no functional change, just refactoring. Regards Marcel
