tmvlad opened a new pull request, #3180: URL: https://github.com/apache/jackrabbit-oak/pull/3180
- When a lucene or elasticsearch index definition has no `indexRules` child node, oak-run reindexing continues and Oak generates an `indexRules` node that indexes all nodes and all property types. This can happen when a content package filter on `oak:index` uses an include pattern that only matches the index node, so its child nodes are not imported. - Fix: the out-of-band reindex (`IndexerSupport.switchIndexLanesAndReindexFlag`) now fails with an `IllegalStateException` that names the index path and points to the likely root cause, instead of indexing incorrectly. Non-fulltext index types are not affected. ## Links - JIRA: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-12431 -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
