Looks good AFAICT. The four loops in {{leave()}} look very similar. Could we
factor those into a single methods with a descriptive name (e.g.
{{updateBackrefs()}})? For the {{set()}} method maybe {{MemoryNodeBuilder}}
could help simplifying the code a bit.
