thanks for the review Michael!
I've left out the last suggestion (loops and nodebuilder) for round 2 of
changes :)
The SessionUUIDTest and NodeUUIDTest tests now pass.
This unblocks OAK-1134 and OAK-1137, the Id manager can use the new properties
instead of a query.
