I would have a serious look at the NEW Eclipse aluminum AN6 frames. Quite a bit
lighter and VERY
reasonably priced. The finish is dramatically superior to last year's model.
You can get a basic Ultegra-fitted bike for $2k + tax. This already includes carbon
fork (steel
stearer) and hubs that are quite smooth. I believe pedals are extra. Saddle is
another item you
might want to customize.

Subject: [obc] ECLIPSE upgrades
Hi there
I am going to purchase a titanium ECLIPSE road bike with ultegra components. I'm
wondering about
upgrades; specifically rims, hubs and carbon forks. Any suggestions?? I would like
to keep the
cost below $3000.00 (before tax).
Thanks.
Bob
