Although there are quite a few tires out there with studs in them, IMHO,
Nokians are the best. I have a set I've been using for 4 years now, and
there is still a lot of life left in them.

In much of the experience shared on the IceBike news list, Nokians
invariable come out ahead of the rest due to their resilience and
effectiveness. Nokians are available from MEC. Lesser quality tires tend to
loose studs, and/or, the studs rust out of their sockets.
