-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 A word of caution about the Yahoo! Calendar. The problem is some of the fields do not map properly with Outlook - eg - the location for example. Like it or not, I have to use Outlook to maintain the calendar because it also has to go into the Newsletter. The Yahoo! one cannot be output in a satisfactory format suitable for the Newsletter. The bottom line is I only have time to maintain one calendar. I've been playing with it but haven't found a fix yet. There is never a perfect solution but at least you can see all the events in a given day. The technology just isn't there yet.
I am not going to remove the current calendar because some users want the PDF and PST versions. I like to be accommodating but I have been pushed as far as I can go. I am NOT prepared to sacrifice the Newsletter for the sake of the website no matter how much whining there is. The website is not the exclusive means for the Club to communicate with the membership. I have been forced to make trade offs which, as we now know, were unacceptable to some. In fact, all this endless discussion from a very small minority regarding the calendar has already hurt the April Newsletter as I have to spent time typing emails instead of working on the Newsletter. I think this is a disservice to the rest of the membership. I will only entertain further suggestions that accommodate BOTH the Newsletter AND the Website. I will NOT sacrifice one for the other.
