Dear David I know this email will surprise you but I must share this with you. About a month ago I went to draw out money at Observatory (next to Spar) Autobank. 2 Nigerians crowded me and said that the security has changed there and managed to touch my card. I told him to leave it alone and to get away from me. I looked at my card and saw it was mine and I drew out money then. I thought no harm done because he never had time to swop the card. Little did I know when going to withdraw again a substantial amount was withdrawn. Apparently they make a copy of your magnetic strip within a second and they make a copy of your card. I spoke to Tony Gonzalves (Manager of Spar) and he said he has been battling with Standard to put security and a camera in that area but to no avail. The reason why I am emailing you is because I have seen a warning letter about this autobank from ONW and would like to know if more people have been duped as I have been. I see the notice is off again. The receptionist at Standard said I would get my money reimbursed, but just in case I do not, I will approach the Bank Ombudsman with as much ammunition as possible. Hope the year started better for you than it has for me. Yours faithfully Lydia Nicolls (the one that used to complain about the noise and the crime that the festival attracts) No virus found in this incoming message.
