I am pretty sire the PIN is not stored on the card so they must have
observed her typing in the pin.

The lesson we can all learn here is if you suspect your card has been
compromised for any reason cancel it immediately and certainly do not carry
on the transaction in front of those who harassed you.

As for the signs maybe we need to step it up and apply something a little
more permanent or hard to take down - maybe SB will then take some action

Notice on the sign to the left of the left hand machine there is a clause
about how they will prosecute you.
