A drain cover was stolen on the corner of Station & Lytton about 2 weeks ago ( I suspect by the horse & cart people) Yesterday at 17.55 a young man stepped into the open drain and badly injured himself. This gentleman has pins in his leg which were damaged. My neighbour from 158 Station (Sherry Japha) very kindly took him up to Grotties. His friend who was with him informs me that he is in intensive care and promised to keep me updated.
I have informed Cllr. Thomas about this so that he can get the responsible persons to replace this and other covers that have been stolen. If there are any missing covers in your area, please let me know and I will forward in to Cedric.
