Not something that will happen any time soon, unfortunately.  Gordon
Brown recently rejected the drug policy advice given by his scientific
advisory board - advice putting several street drugs lower than
alcohol, including cannabis, LSD, and Ecstasy, on a well-defined harm
scale.  Britain has far more clout to soak up the international
reaction than South Africa where, despite dagga being popular among
our politicians, they wouldn't dare to decriminalise it.
