This is pretty awful news - I'm really sorry Peter. If something similar happened a couple of nights ago at the school, then it's possible that the thugs are operating in your vicinity for now.....
Do you or any nearby residents patrol your area at night ? You may want to think about talking to neighbours to suggest patrols in the vicinity. We do it in the red section and we've had a couple of arrests (....one thug scaling a palisade fence in Wesley was seen by a patroller who shortly after secured his arrest). But a few of us have 2-way radios and this greatly facilitates watchfulness and communication. Get back to me if you would like to follow this up. All the best and very relieved no-one was hurt.
