Just like Cape Town are Romeo Charlie but they call them Charlie for short!!!! SO in my mind Sierra Whiskey EIGHT is correct! Obvioulsy I have not doen too much patrolling but I am sure the car has the call sign printed on the outside. Any way that is not too serious as all the radio people know what who we are referring to when we call Whiskey 8! - well the ones that patrol anyway. This is just another classic case of making sure you are in contact with Whiskey * or Whisky 1 or whatever Whiskey is out there (i prefer Jamesons by the way!) And I see no mention of ADT on the radio - were you guys in contact with them. Finally we can check the radio logs to get some sort of a timeline and we probably shoudl use them for training purposes. I will check them out now and see if they are all still being recorded.
