Spirit Sister Productions (corner of Merrick, Wesley and Station) has just installed palisade fencing with electric fencing strands at close intervals almost DOWN TO THE GROUND!
When I first saw this, my immediate thought that it is unsafe for any passersby (but particularly kids, dogs and cats). I have since chatted to the company that installed my electric fencing, who informed me that it is ILLEGAL to have electrified fencing less that 1.8 metres from the ground (this makes sense, in that a passerby cannot accidentally brush against it).
