* METRO * * On Wednesday night 10 members of the metro police issued fines: * - * Unspecified fines to car guards* - * 13 fines for unlicensed motor vehicle's* - * 19 fines for illegal parking in Station,Lower Main and Nuttal road.* * Total value of the fines was R13 400-00 * * VAGRANTS* * Also on Wednesday night Insp. Nel did profiles on 23 vagrants in Observatory and took photo's of them. In addition he removed the vagrants from 5 Drake street and arranged for Constable Ontong to visit regularly. We all know that the vagrant issue won’t be solved overnight. The Police **could only find 23 on Wednesday night **but realise that there are many more vagrants in Observatory.* Andrew Fife A Touch of Madness - Victorian Quaffery 021 448 2266 www.touchofmadness.co.za 2009/7/31 demann <[email protected]> > > No actually I didn't o_0 > Did the much research show that only 3 people were required for said > unit, ag shame. > I saw a SAPS vehicle parked outside 5 Drake Str. yesterday but have no > idea if they were just having their lunch or if they were attending to > the problem... > How are these people going to be dissuaded from moving into/onto the > new Obs Common (Obs. park across from Spar) once it's finished ?
