I see the steel pavement gulley thieves are back in operation in OBS. They have been busy in St Michael's road outside the Anglican Church of St. Michael and All Angels.
The steel drain pipe going from the church vibra-crete wall ( almost directly opposite the Chapel side door) to the pavement drain was missing. This was in fact stolen , as the drain has been ripped out of the ground leaving the tar surrounds, and a gaping gap across the pavement where the gulley was. When will these damn thieves stop creating unnecessary work for others costing the rate papers in the end. Doug.
