David, this isn't "crime" but "grime", but it's in response to your "Are there any other places in Obs that particularly need cleaning up?" I'm not sure who's responsible for the Station Road subway, but it desperately needs a pipe [plastic, not metal!] put in on the south- west wall to take the water-flow down to the gutter at the bottom. For ages now the water from this hole has just seeped/poured onto the steps, and in post-rainy weather it makes the whole place reee- volting. On top of that the subway could do with a clean up - and I think the lighting may need checking.
