The only thing the program highlighted that I remember was that the
"herb" as you put had no effect whatsoever.

It was supposed to be Hyena fur if I remember correctly.

It seems unlikely that this happens and in more likley hood is a bit
of an urban myth.  Look what happened when the Russians used a
knock-out gas in that theater in 2002 - 139 dead civilians. I think
that any gas pumped into a house to knock someone out is going to have
to be nearly lethal in quantities to have an effect. Therefore you
could expect deaths if this was a regular method of performing
robberies.

I can;t argue with the symptoms of the victims but really wanted to
comment on the inaccuracy of the next post especially since the
programme in question debunked that myth.

But no matter how they did it it is certainly worrying the criminals
are happy to steal stuff from right under our noses. Well done to the
police for capturing the crooks before the owners were even aware of
what happened.
