Thanks Kris for this - I will speak to my husband - he may be able to patrol. I 
have 2 young kids & not easy for me to leave them at night to prowl the 
streets! (apparently social services frowns on that sort of thing - not sure 
why :)

Several neighbours are patrolling using radios for direct contact with SAPS
and each other. This additional vigilance appears to be having some positive
effect by moving suspicious vehicles and people out of the patrolled areas.
The Red and Blue blocks are being covered. See map attached. You are in the
Orange Block.

Hi Carys

I agree that burglaries in Obs appear to be on the increase, despite
the good work done by the ONW and the Woodstock Police. What I find
very scary is that I'm hearing of more incidents where the people were
in the house while the burglary occurred and didn't hear or see a
thing. Not nice!
