TODAY

Bev organised for the dog to be collected by Animal Welfare - they have
assured us that the dog will not be put down. She is going to visit it
tomorrow and will let us know the situation. They are going to check for
micro-chipping. Other than the matted dirty fur, the dog is well trained,
excellent teeth, gentle natured and playful, oh and male.

Will let you know more tomorrow.

Cheers
Lisa

Hi Andrew

Won't you put the following text onto the ONW website for me (...I'm not
sure how to add photos to the text so wld be chuffed if you would add them
for me ? ): Thanks Andrew - Bev

This beautiful dog was removed from a bergie by ONW patroller 07 around
11h00 today.

A bergie was seen untying him from a hook outside the Kwikspar.

Knowing the dog couldn't belong to the bergie, two Spar staff and Oscar 7
managed to remove it (for no payment) from him.

His fur is very matted but he surely comes from a caring home because he
will lift his paws for you if spoken to very gently.

He is understandably anxious at the moment but has an incredibly beautiful
nature.

His teeth are in good condition and I'd guess he is perhaps around two years
old.

His collar has silver "Scottie" studs on it but no name tag.

The dog will be collected by the Animal Welfare later today.

Photos will be taken to the Tatler for further advertising.

Please, please contact 084-4030300 if you recognise this dog.
