I appreciate your anger - but what if they had harmed Lucy? How would you feel then? If you really want a guard dog, maybe consider getting one - but your darling Lucy is your pet.......... - not your security. Sorry if I sound harsh - I don't mean to be but I also know what Lucy means to you.
