Hi,

I think the main objective is to get it closed during the night, when there
is little use of it except by criminals and vagrants. I would suggest a
proper survey or head count as to how many people use it every day and
night. It would be useful and relevant information in managing the problem.

I also hope that bikers push their bikes through it instead of riding as
this could pose a danger for pedestrians!
