- Stand off at the car park opposite the library, involving VS and
Montahna a 'car guard employed by the proprietor of the Martial arts
studio. Montahna is one of the last remaining 'car guards' in Obs. It is
alleged he deals from the car park. And there are witnesses. Marko the
martial arts man, declared his loyalty to Montanha, who has been
instructed to obtain a Police Clearance by the CID manager, Brian
Amery.The car guard issue is clearly not resolved. When i left the area
Montahna's friend was taking up his place for the evening.
- Altercation at Touch of Madness. A patron tried to drag another patron
of the premises. The SAPS and VS were in attendance and statements taken.
- Burglary at 56 Oxford street. Apparently the work of two coloured
males, wearing some bling including beautiful ear studs and rings. Tthe
front window was painstakingly removed and placed, unbroken on the floor
of the stoep. The tenant and ADT were mystified as to why the alarm
wasnt activated. I hope the camcellation of the Oxford and Surrounds
Dedicated Bicycle Patrol will not lead to an increase in crime in the
area. The final patrol was completed on Sunday the 31st.
- A resident pointed out where drugs are allegedly stashed in Darien
Lane and picked up by couriers for delivery purposes.
