HELEN STILL IN SURGERY 4:50 PM - 16.3.2010 Dr Singh has just phoned to say the surgery "....has gone well" and that Helen should be in the Recovery Room by about 5.20 pm. So that's about 3.5 hours in surgery. He will phone again once she has regained consciousness.
Bev Umm......he has also arranged for Helen to have "Nicotine patches" (for "medical purposes") while she's hospitalised. I tried to persuade her to give up smoking in view of the fact that she would have to "give up anyway" for a week or so. She $...@^% at me and made me vow to bring her cigarettes with me when I finally collect her from hospital.
