6.50 pm  -  Tues, 16 March 2010:   Dr Singh has just tucked Helen in
for the night.
He even had her say a couple of (indicipherable) words to me on his
cell phone.
He says they did ".....a pretty good fusion and those screws are
nicely positioned......but she's going to have to take things very
easy for a while, while her spine heals."
She lost a couple of pints of blood but an infusion doesn't seem
necessary.....
