This post started out on drug related problems. I agree and increasingly it seems that drugs are the root of most of our crime related problems - but don't get me going on this and other deep laying issues.
This morning I noticed a dark blue, nearly black nice sport type of car with spoilers and all, parked on the pavement below my wall under a "No Parking" sign. The thirty year old white male was having a tea spoon with white powder near his nose VS was advised by radio - but my opposite neighbour unaware of what was happening - disturbed him and our friend drove off and went right into Station Road against the traffic and disappeared. Only last weekend and during the major police exercise, including Traffic Police "nogal" I spotted during a patrol these small green Corso (with no rear lights) also standing under a "No Parking" sign facing incoming traffic. Warned them kindly and they drove off to go and park on my pavement and on my (by now famous) wall again under the "NP" sign. Got out of my car and talked to them. The young white with two young girls said "Jammer Oom". He reacted strangely and I asked him whether he was okay to drive. He drove off and low and behold turned right against against the oncoming traffic into Trill Road. These people look brain dead to me and if we do not STOP the DRUG in OBS innocent residents may get injured or even be dying in head on collisions. Incidentally every week - sometimes even daily - cars drive in Station Road against the traffic flow even without lights. Maybe some people are brain dead with or without using drugs - Watch out. Obsid I'm looking forward to the bright road markings in front of your new offices.
