Hi Rosemary, A friend who plays around with mechanical things a bit said that he tried for at least 10 minutes one day, on passing the dog park, to lock the gate which had been left open. He didn't manage.
Today I went by and found the gate unlocked. I spent about 6 minutes to lock the gate but was unsuccessful. I think the problem is that the locking mechanism is too difficult to manage.
