I think it is about time that the City stopped with only doing patch jobs just to ensure that this keeps the electricity running, and hence the 15 outages recorded since last October. This is a very believable figure of the number as it feels as though it is getting more and more frequent.
I think the power substation at the top of Rochester Road needs a good overhaul, so that it can handle the load. Also every time we have an outage you can be sure the electrical people will find their way to that little grey electrical box on the corner of Campbell and Scott road where the problem seems to lie. PLEASE CAN WE NOT FIX THE PROBLEM ONCE AND FOR ALL..... By the way who do I send the bill to for the stock that I have lost in my deep freeze. Yesterday's outage was 18 hours , before the large generator was attached and the we had lights that worked. Guess where that generator is parked.....Yes, you are right, once again at the little great box on the corner of Campbell and Scott....this is not the first time that we have had this generator with the heaviest hum at this box. Yes.... Do not get me wrong....I am pleased that the generator is in place.....that I have electricity....BUT.... when do I expect the next visit and outage.....if they do not do a proper job......then it will not be too long in the future. Come Councilors I voted you in now give me the satisfaction of keeping the electricity running....to do this please make it your business to see this time round a proper job is taken up..... and not as history shows....a patch job.
