Thank you for this e-mail. Every day I see this man when I stop at the robot, turning right into Liesbeeck Parkway and I've always thought he was just homeless. People who give him money are enabling his drug addiction. Sandy Pienaar
>>> NGODINOBS <[email protected]> 2011/08/11 08:03 AM >>> I wonder how many people are aware that the thin man who stands begging at the robots at Station and Liezbeck Parkway drive every day is actually a drug addict? Most probably on heroin which is why he often looks like he is sleeping on his feet. Yet the public gives him money every day to feed his habit! He lives on my neighbours veranda. We have tried to ta;k him into gpoing for help but he won't. By helping him we are helping the drug dealers to continue plying their trade of destruction. Who does one speak to about this? The police or who. How do you tell the public not to support him? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
