Thank you for this e-mail.  Every day I see this man when I stop at the
robot, turning right into Liesbeeck Parkway and I've always thought he
was just homeless.  People who give him money are enabling his drug
addiction.

I wonder how many people are aware that the thin man who stands
begging at the robots at Station and Liezbeck Parkway drive every day
is actually a drug addict? Most probably on heroin which is why he
often looks like he is sleeping on his feet. Yet the public gives him
money every day to feed his habit!
He lives on my neighbours veranda. We have tried to ta;k him into
gpoing for help but he won't. By helping him we are helping the drug
dealers to continue plying their trade of destruction.
Who does one speak to about this? The police or who. How do you tell
the public not to support him?
