Sorry for this bad behavior of my drivers.
I understand and know that we need to stick with the rules of the road, but
as you know we have had many break-ins and theft in Observatory we are also
trying our strategic ways to catch these suspects etc.
Be sure that all my drivers will be briefed regarding this and they won't be
doing so unless it's necessary to use the one way as a short cut in catching
criminals or responding to life and dead matters.
Please let VS know of any irregularities in your vicinity.0214471066{24hrs}

Hi all
On several occasions now I have noticed the VS Obs CID bakkie driving
up our one way street (Ivy) in the wrong direction. The most recent
time I was arriving home and only just managed to park outside my
house before they came down the road. They never speed so are
obviously not responding to an emergency, but I assume on their
regular patrols.
The first time, some months ago, I confronted the driver who was
apologetic in a very dismissive way after initially getting a bit
shirty and commenting that he was sure I wouldn't mind him driving
illegally if he were responding to my emergency.
I know it's a small thing to moan about, but road rules are road rules
and there to be obeyed by everyone, even appointed security guards.
