Guys, its all very well rallying to support James, who indeed contributes an
extraordinary amount to the ONW, CPF, and Obsid.  James's dedication and
commitment is clear and we are lucky to have someone of his calibre
contributing the time and energy he does to Obs.

But there's a bigger issue here, which is that it appears that Obs is being
sidelined and marginalised in the CPF.  We NEED to have a positive and
creative relationship with SAPS and the CPF to support the work we are doing
to reduce crime.  Without the support of the thin blue line our job becomes
that much more difficult.

We should be focussing on how to repair this damage and ensure our voice is
heard.

I absolutely agree with Rob.  Seeing James striding around the neighborhood,

keeping an eye on things, working tirelessly to make our space a safe and 
pleasant one, is indeed a very unselfish and welcome service he offers us.
