Graham I am also in Campbell Street, noted that this seems to have started on Saturday morning, when I listened outside my front door, the sound seems to come from the block between Robins and Campbell. It sounds like a mechanical saw of some kind. This was both on Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone else hear and can offer some explanation..... Doug. I can't tell if it's also going in daytime, due to masking by traffic. It sounds far-away and at first I thought it might be a klaxon or foghorns, but from the way the buzzing changes as it turns on and off, and from the lower-frequency undertones, I now think it sounds like machinery, reminiscent of a circular saw. Has anyone else noticed, knows what and where it is, and whether it will be stopping any time soon? We hardly got any sleep last night in Campbell St. Graham -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
