I have swapped to MTN and, after problems in the change over, it is
brilliant to finally have a cell phone that works. With Vodacom I was often
not able to phone out. Instead I would receive a message "Emergency calls
only". In addition my phone would frequently cut out in the middle of calls
- not good for business and not good for security!

nevertheless they have got an employee hotline - for exactly this sort of
question or complaint.. so staff have a direct line to people who can help
when they hear this sort of horror story around the braai (or on email)

I have forwarded this mail trail to the staff hotline, and got the response
shown below.

I'll share whatever feedback they give me in about a fortnight.
