I called Vodacom a few times last year to complain (yes I agree more of us should), I was called back an informed they were trying to improve the coverage by putting cells on the Hartleyvale spotlight towers. This obviously hasn't happened yet.
FTW - I changed to MTN a few days ago, my reception is far better now (mid Nuttall Rd). I'd rate MTN - 80%, Vodacom - 15%. The porting of my number was fairly pain-free too, switched within 24hrs.
