Hi Rachel
I also support Andrew, Rosemary and Ursula's comments.

Orbis/Securitas was chosen because they offer a comprehensive service, and also
provide similar services to the Groote Schuur and Woodstock CIDs. This
provides us with very useful co-ordination between the CIDs. Our relationship
with both Woodstock and Mowbray SAPS is also vastly improved.

However, we must always be vigilant about service levels and ensure that do
deliver the service that the community expects.

For your issues with the vagrants, there are two paths to follow:
1. When you see vagrants (or anyone else for that matter) in the street and
you are worried, please call the OPS control room at 0214471066. They will
send the car around. Our patrolmen will not hassle or intimidate anyone. But
their presence will deter anti-social behaviour. Their mandate is to ensure
public open spaces are safe and secure. If you don't find the service of the
control room to be acceptable, please call Obsid directly and speak to Claudine
or Siphe, who will ensure that your complaints are logged and followed up -
that's 0214487090.
2. If anyone enters your property, it is no longer within OPS mandate; you
will need to call Premier. Richard has already emailed you on this thread to
indicate his personal commitment to ensuring service levels there.

I hope things improve for you. Please don't hesitate to contact me on
[email protected] if you are still unhappy.

Regards
Justin
