Here is the latest feedback from the City's Environmental Resource
Management team:

Further to our earlier email, the following progress:

a) The matter has been reported to DEADP and they will conduct a site visit
today with our City ‘Green Scorpion’ (Linda Ndlela)

b) Our branch will serve a notice to issue a directive for what appears to
be damage to the river banks and infilling

c) Catchment Management will visit the site and take whatever action they
deem appropriate, most likely a notice ito Storm Water Management Bylaw

d) We are investigating the demolition of structures along Liesbeeck River
(what appears to be a wall and part of a building) that could have been
older than 60 years.
