Hi all, I am so disappointed at what is being said about the Obsid.
The Obsid has improved almost alls lifestyles in Observatory, lowered crime, increased the beautification of the suburb and MOST DEFINITELY cared for all the homeless. It saddens me that there is still the bickering, which to me does not make sense! I think those complaining should move elsewhere to an area which does not have the LUXURY and BENEFIT of an Improvement District. I worked very closely within the community, and it is the same people complaining about the same thing. Minority discriminating against such a good cause, which BTW has helped make Obs walkable again. The PUBLIC Toilets are owned by the Municipality- whom tenders it to a PRIVATE company, NOT Obsid. I feel if you want to complain about something at least get some sort of facts. Also, have you seen the drug deals happen around the park? Well I have, and I thank the municipality for putting up the fence to protect the children. It is so sad that there is such negativity towards such a great cause. Gosh I may not live in Obs, but I really admire the work done by Obsid and the community. I really hope you all find happiness in Obs- I love the place, the homeless community whom Obsid so generously cares for (go anywhere else in the city and see how the homeless are treated!) Obs is a great suburb. Don't spoil it with all the negativity. Instead help build a better suburb for yourself and the community!
