Hi Rosemary,

We all have this problem from time to time.

What I resort to doing is emptying all the rubbish out of my black bag into the
bin.

This makes it more difficult and unattractive for the skarelars to scratch in
the bin.

Regards,

Gareth Leyman

Subject: [obsnw] refuse day/ recyclers

I appreciate I have broached this topic before but I am hoping for some
constructive advice/ideas.

I put my refuse in clear little bags and then in a black refuse bag. The black
bag gets stolen and even my clear bags are ripped open leaving a ghastly mess
both on the pavement and in the bin. (Recycle 1st collects from me every
Wednesday so there is nothing worthwhile in my bin).

Much as I sympathise with those who eke out a living scratching in bins, I find
the current behaviour unacceptable.

Any ideas people?
