Earlier this week two taxis drove through Cook St from Rochester. One nearly ran me down! Another large truck also drove down Cook from Rochester - squeezing through the narrow space left for driving in this very narrow road. On Thursday afternoon last week, I was on the corner of Polo & Wembley. It was peak traffic time & during the say 10 minutes I was there at least 20 cars turned into Wembley from Rochester & crossed Polo. Not sure where they went from there. I have seen No Entry signs for trucks & taxis in other residential areas. Can we get the same? I believe we have to shout louder to resolve this problem. The raid on taxis a week or two ago has obviously not made much of a difference to the delinquent drivers' behaviour.
