I'm not sure what the plans are Marc, and from driving through Main Road
regularly at 4pm, major issues arise because people block intersections and
areas marked as keep clear. When traffic lights change traffic from the
opposite direction can not pass through the intersections, and people needing
to turn off main road can not because intersections are blocked.
Try turning right into Milton Road from Main, for example...the Keep Clear
section is normally blocked, and it is a nightmare for people coming up Station
into Main as it is usually blocked when the traffic lights change.
Major culprits are buses in the inside lane which will be bumper to bumper like
train carriages.

Yes but what we are looking at is not this going to police this specific
problem, even if all is related.
We are looking at making Main Road move with less gridlock and also the
problem of Liesbeek Parkway traffic building up all the way up station
Road.
Besides this we are also interested in resolving some issues of Lower Main
and other traffic patterns in Obs.
Reckless driving needs to be fined!
Trucks are meant to be restricted but seems signs are not complete nor
policed enough.
